The Weekend Changes

Image

I am officially in love with this image…perfect in every way.  I hope it adds a festive feel to your weekend.  I am declaring myself officially healed despite the shakiness, pain, and lack of sleep and I’m on to a happy weekend.  As soon as I’m done posting this, I’m taking myself out to my yard to gather branches and pinecones for decorating.  Then it is time to put up the tree, hang a wreath or two, and break out all of the Christmas music and books.  Tomorrow will be our first of many family Christmas parties…traditionally we eat pulled pork sandwiches and sides, enjoy a talent show and family updates, and break a piñata.  In recent years we have added a kid’s craft table and a Christmas tree adorned with a soft furry creature for each of the great-grandchildren.  It is a fun way to start December each year.

A new month means new design changes on my blog, so note the new links under “Seasons Change.”  Check those frequently as I will keep adding my favorite seasonal links from around the web.

In honor of the season and my weekend crafting plans, I present the 12 Days of “Things Change…”

First Day--Paper Cup Ornament Storage.
Second Day--Tomato Cage Trees.
Third Day--Retro Toothpick Spheres.
Fourth Day—Book Page Gift Tags.
Fifth Day--Tulle Christmas Tree.
Sixth Day—Pinecones I’ll be painting…
Seventh Day—Pinecones I’ll be potting.
Eighth Day—Wreath I’ll be crafting.
Ninth Day—Garland I’ll be hanging.
Tenth Day—Mugs I’ll be drawing.
Eleventh Day—Lanterns I’ll be glittering.
Twelfth Day—Stockings I’ll be sewing.

Have a happy busy weekend…and make some changes.
