Today is Joe’s and my 23rd anniversary. It has been an amazing adventure that continues to unfold daily. Joe is my best friend, my soul mate, the love of my life…I think I am his, too.
We like to celebrate our anniversary every year with a mini moment. When our girls were younger, that meant a quick dinner date and maybe a movie. That has changed over the last few years as they have gotten older…definitely one of my all-time favorite changes! Now we plan a yearly getaway that lasts for a few days and sometimes even a week or more. The locations vary depending on our financial situation and time, but we always go. We have learned that this mini moment is essential to our marriage, so it is one of our top priorities every year.
